Windows 10 22H2 Schedule
Even with Windows 11 launch, Microsoft said it will take care of Windows 10 appropriately until its deadline. This Microsoft OS is scheduled to die in 2025, so users of Windows 10 don’t need to worry until then. Even after that, you may be served with critical security updates whenever needed. Until then, Microsoft will be regularly rolling out feature updates to fix bugs, add new features and improve the overall experience. In this pursuit, the company is scheduling the next feature update to Windows 10 – as v22H2, coming next month. Eligible users of Windows 10 will receive the update in October and have some of the features included from the recently released Windows 11 22H2. These may contain a rich set of tweaks, fixes, and printing-focused features. While Microsoft didn’t mention any specific date yet, we assume it to be coming in the 2nd or 3rd Tuesday update of next month, considering the past timeline. Talking about this, Microsoft’s John Cable said in a blog post that “the next feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2, is coming next month, continuing to offer you both support and choice with Windows”. Windows 10 21H1 – the current latest update to Windows 10 users will reach the end of support in December this year. So it’s advisable to upgrade for any new update coming in to keep your system secured.
