As per reports, Snapchat will feature Verishop Mini, a specially crafted Verishop shopping section in the Snapchat app to let users shop for branded items and purchases. Moreover, users can share them with others and also try some virtually to know better.

With over 265 million active users, Snapchat for long has been a successful social chat platform in the heated-up messenger space. However, Generation Z users and millennials, who open the app 30 times a day on average, are mostly used by Generation Z users and millennials. Snapchat has confidently partnered with Verishop, a new online shopping store housing fashion branded products from clothing to cosmetics with this active userbase. Announcing this partnership, Alston Cheek, Snapchat’s Platform Partnerships Director, said, Verishop Mini can be seen in the rocket section of Snapchat and has a search function to find products. The shop features a wide catalog of fashion products from various independent brands like Bebe, Richer Poorer, Fifth & Ninth, Ganni, Faithfull the Brand, Labucq, Dannijo, etc., rotational basis. Also, Verishop Mini uses Snapchat’s AR functionality to let users try on some products virtually, like sunglasses and lipstick shades. Further, users can share their finds with friends on Snap internally to ask for opinions. With the latest stats saying that over 55 percent of consumers shopping in marketplace apps more now than before the pandemic, Snapchat’s integration with Verishop should garner good results.
