Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulates the team of ISRO for getting success in the launch of PSLV-C47. He tweeted,” I heartily congratulate the entire @ISRO team on yet another successful launch of PSLV-C47 carrying indigenous Cartostat-3 satellite and over a dozen nanosatellite of the USA.” Cartosat-3 has many innovative technologies such as highly agile structural platform, payload platform, higher rate data handling and transmission systems, advanced onboard computer and new power electronics, dual gimbal antenna, and others. At 9.28 am. the rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-XL, 44.4 meters tall and weigh about 320 ton, with a one way Cartostat-3. It also has 13 nano-satellites from the USA. The nano-satellites have some fee paid to NewSpace India Limited – the new commercial arm of ISRO. Moreover, ISRO has 13 missions as planned during this fiscal year which includes seven-vehicle missions and seven satellite missions till March 2020.
